Recently Shôko received the Insigna seal of quality, promoted by the Gremio de Restauración de Barcelona to recognize the professionalism of the best restaurants in Barcelona in different aspects, not only in gastronomic matters, which can be more or less subjective.


This distinction rewards the commitment to quality and excellence in service. After a demanding and anonymous audit to which we voluntarily submitted, it was very satisfying to see how we were among the top 50 selected to receive this award.

The audit was carried out by an independent company that, anonymously, visited the restaurant to evaluate aspects such as the conditioning of the premises, food management and safety, customer service from the first telephone contact to the end of their visit, the quality of the dishes, waiting time, communication, the usefulness of the channels to communicate with the customer, complaints management and online reputation, etc.. Above all, however, the quality of the human team was a determining factor in receiving this award and we are particularly proud of this: professionals with years of experience at home who know the product and the tastes of their clients well, always trying to offer a memorable experience.

To have been selected to receive this award is very gratifying, not only for being awarded along with other great Michelin star restaurants, but also because if something has distinguished Shôko since its inception are two of its basic pillars: maximum product quality and excellence in service.


According to La Vanguardia, the distinctive Insigna, in addition to accrediting quality, is a guarantee to enjoy the best restaurants in Barcelona. A great initiative of the Gremi de Restauració de Barcelona in collaboration with the Generalitat de Catalunya and the support of Barcelona City Council.
